In the 2022 election, I filed as a Democratic Party write-in candidate for the Kentucky State Senate, to counter an unopposed far-right/QAnon/MAGA activist. I was fortunate to have the support of the Kentucky Democratic Party, and will always be grateful to the individual donors I heard from and the individual and organizational endorsements I secured.
I don’t think I’ll ever run again, but still wanted to say thank you to the voters of Trimble, Oldham, and Jefferson counties who identified with my Democratic campaign.
